Wow, I think it's too cool that you found so much color in what is usually such a flat object as technology.
holy crap! thats so neat and clever!
quite the ingenius use of these things, and a nice execution too!
I do break the devices down to components but but most of them are defect to begin with.
I only show the insides of things that are designed to become broken (or obsolete)
Yes, I think that plays into the concept of that video/discussion, though Mike didn't go into physical components of old technology so much. This, I guess, is more of a re-purposing than highlighting glitches or malfunctions, but it still speaks to me of the transience of technology.
Hah! I love the way they're organised by colour.
Woah that's amazing it's made out of such tiny objects.
Congratulations on the Daily Deviation
Great colors. Well done! Congrats on the DD.
Very nice! Congrats on the DD
the thumb nail image looked like an aerial of NYC Central Park & the surrounding city
very creative, I love it!
My index finger moved my cursor to the comment button all on it's own, and the rest of my fingers were in coalition with it, because all of the sudden, there was a comment written and sent.
I had no idea resistors came in so many colors! This is a very cool piece. At first I thought it was a weaving or quilt; I love seeing leftovers from computers turned into art! Congrats on the DD!
Superb piece, an inspired choice of materials.
